Accessibility Statement

Last updated: May 2026

Our Commitment

Online Medical Tools is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards to achieve this.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.

Accessibility Features

This site includes the following built-in accessibility features:

  • Text size controls — Adjust font size (small, medium, large) using the controls in the footer. Your preference is saved across visits.
  • High contrast mode — Toggle increased contrast for improved readability using the footer control.
  • Skip to content — A skip link appears at the top of every page when focused, allowing keyboard users to bypass navigation.
  • Keyboard navigation — All interactive elements are reachable and operable via keyboard.
  • Screen reader support — Semantic HTML, ARIA labels, and landmark regions are used throughout.
  • Reduced motion — Animations are disabled automatically when the system “prefers-reduced-motion” setting is active.
  • Readable contrast ratios — Body text meets or exceeds the WCAG AA contrast ratio of 4.5:1.

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some areas may not yet fully conform. Complex interactive calculators with dynamic results may have areas we are actively improving. We are working to address these as part of our ongoing development.

Technical Specifications

Online Medical Tools relies on the following technologies for conformance:

  • HTML5
  • CSS (including custom properties and media queries)
  • WAI-ARIA
  • JavaScript (React)
